The attraction of lesser things

It is easy for the unimportant to intrude on the truly important in our relationships.
We have to get outside of ourselves for our relationships to change .
The only way to change our priorities is to begin to make different choices in our relationships.

Relationships are more important than money
refer to Matthew 6 : 24-33

If we try to hold on to competing values , one will always overwhelm the other .

Lesser values take less faith and effort . It seems easier and so it will constantly drive us in. Because to all appearances , we can reach a lesser value more quickly therefore we'll be continually tempted to make it our first priority .

If you're looking for a challenge or an adventure ,
you'll find it in having the faith to put your relationships first .

Relationships are more important than tasks
refer to Mark 5: 21-43 , Mark 10:14 , Mark 6:37 , John 4

Whenever tasks needs to be accomplished , there is the temptation to make the task you are doing more important than the people whom you are doing the task .

A healthy relationship with God and others have the power to keep our commitments to the things and the tasks in our lives from getting out of balance .
